We are the only ones that can provide all of this for your next company outing.

EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIPS

Have your next school or day care fiield trip at Latta Equestrian Center. Let your students learn about the different horse breeds, the daily necessary care of the horse, it’s daily nutritional needs and health care.

HORSE BACK RIDING

Horses in Charlotte?? Sure! Latta Plantation Equestrian Center features show grounds , lighted arenas, guided trail rides, horseback riding lessons, and a tack shop at Latta Plantation Nature Preserve in northwestern Mecklenburg County. With 13 miles of equestrian trails winding through the woods, this is the perfect spot for a peaceful afternoon ride. Reservations are required for lessons, parties, hayrides and trail rides.

Horse owners can also bring their own horses to Latta Plantaion Nature Preserve and enjoy a day of riding the trails

 

GUIDED TRAIL RIDES: $23.00 per person

PONY RIDES: $8.00 per person

  • Hours offered: 10:00AM- 3:00PM Monday-Friday; 10:00AM-4:30PM Saturday & Sunday
  • Ages 2-7 ( 100 lbs limit )
  • Walk- ins welcome.

 

WESTERN & ENGLISH RIDING LESSONS:

  • $30.00 per person for Group Lessons
  • $45.00 per person for Private Lessons
  • One Hour Sessions
  • Monday-Thursday afternoons & evenings

SUMMER DAY CAMP:

  • Monday-Friday sessions each week during summer

EQUESTRIAN CENTER BIRTHDAY PARTIES:

Pony Ride Parties

We can custom plan your party with lots of different activities

  • Age 7 years and younger
  • Up to 25 guests, Games played
  • One Pony included. $25 for additional Pony

 

TRAIL RIDE PARTIES

  • Age 12 and up
  • Party includes 6 riders. $15 for additional rider
  • Have an open fire wiennie roast to end the trail ride.
